Running a quality league (gyms, refs, insurance) costs an average of $105 per player.

Step 2: The Community Sponsors

We secure Community Sponsors to cover that bill for you.

Step 3: Your Part

You pay $0 Monthly Tuition (sponsored). Other required costs and conditions are disclosed below.

YOUR ONLY COSTS:

• Jersey: $35 (Yours to keep).

• Performance Bond: $100 (Refundable per the Terms of Participation; forfeited only for an unexcused No-Show).

• Door Fees: Standard spectator admission ($15/Adult, $10/Child) applies at games. Players enter free.

• Because we reward commitment, every registered player who stays active through high school graduation earns up to a $1,000 College Fund Award.

• Up to 13 years of tuition-free basketball — and money for college when they're done.

The $1,000 College Fund Program

Our Goal: Award Over $1,000,000 in College Fund Awards to SoCal Youth

We are committed to awarding over $1,000,000 in College Fund Awards to players who stick with our program through high school graduation. When your child graduates, they receive an award to put toward their future.

HOW IT WORKS:

Step 1: Register. Complete the one-time registration ($35 jersey + $100 refundable bond). Your child is automatically enrolled in the College Fund Program.

Step 2: Stay Active. Play in at least 50% of Saturday tournaments each year. Bring at least one family member each week. Keep the attendance bond in good standing.

Step 3: Graduate and Get Paid. Show us the diploma. We send the award within 60 days. Paid directly to the player or applied to college expenses.

This is a commercial player incentive — our way of investing in kids who show up, stay committed, and graduate.

Why the $100 Performance Bond?

SoCal Basketball is tuition-free. No monthly tuition. No hidden fees. No contracts. Your child plays every Saturday for as long as they want at zero cost.

But tuition-free only works if players actually show up. When half a team ghosts, games get cancelled and the families who showed up get let down. This is what kills free youth sports programs everywhere.

We don't want your money. We want your commitment.

The $100 bond is a fully refundable security deposit — not a fee. When your child attends their games, you get every dollar back. It's that simple.

The bond guarantees your child gets full teams, real games, and the experience they signed up for. It's the reason we can offer what AAU programs charge $200-300/month for at zero monthly cost to you.

If you RSVP "No" by the deadline, your Bond is safe. You only pay if you confirm and then don't show up.

If you RSVP "Yes" and No-Show, you forfeit the $100 Bond as Liquidated Damages.

The $100 is eligible for return during the Refund Window, provided you have Zero "No-Shows" on your record.
